Shear-type cutting action greatly reduces cutting effort compared to old fashioned, conventional, compression-type wire cutters and provides the shear cut required in Military and Weapons Spec. work. Flush cuts soft wire up to 20 AWG. Ultra-slim profile permits entry into tight areas. Lifetime, non-protruding flat spring provides snag-free service. High quality carbon steel has a Rockwell hardness of 54-56C. Comes standard with contoured, non-slip rubber handles and glare-eliminating black finish. Available with lead retainer which arrests cut-off wire fragments.
