Vanier Soldering Tip; Equivalent to Hexacon P/N HT220 and Plato P/N 31-517

Vanier soldering and desoldering tips are designed to insure maximum heat conductivity and optimum operating life. Each tip is precision machined to size and shape out of high grade copper. The high grade copper core is then iron plated creating an adhesive bond against erosion. The tip is plated with nickel to insure against corrosion. Chrome plating is applied to provide immunization on the unwetted surface of the tip. Finally, each tip is pre-tinned for immediate use.
