Pomona SOIC Clip Test Adapter, 8-Pin

Allows testing of surface mounted Small Outline Integrated Circuits (SOIC and SOJ). Stainless steel spring mechanism assures positive connection and provides hands-free testing. Molded insulation barrier between long-life, gold-plated, beryllium copper contacts prevents accidental shorting while testing "live" boards. Gold-plated, phosphor bronze access pins on upper end are .025" square, and permit either individual pin testing or the use of .100"-spaced connectors. Clips can be purchased individually or in a 6-piece set housed in a durable hinged plastic case.
