Formulated for cleaning dust, oil, grime, and moisture from fiber optic ferrule ends and connector bulkheads. Fast-drying and ozone-safe, this powerful, nonflammable solvent lifts much more contamination than alcohol. It is safe on glass, plastics (not plastic optical fiber), metals, cured epoxies, and circuit boards. Because this cleaner dries quickly without leaving a residue, it can be used to flush contamination from inside alignment sleeves where solvent entrapment normally would be an issue. It is an excellent choice for "wet/dry" cleaning when used on lint-free wipes or swabs. Electrically conductive, the solvent dissipates static charges which bind particles and dust to fiber or connector end-faces.
