This compact, light but rugged heat gun is designed for electronic and electrical benchwork such as shrink tubing, melting solder preforms, activating and curing adhesives and epoxies, and preheating flux. 1" diameter nozzle delivers just the right heat and air volume for electronic jobs without blowing feather light components off the workbench. High impact plastic housing withstands hard knocks. Due to the unit's virtually noiseless operation, a safety lamp glows while the motor is running. Interchangeable plug-in heating elements provide three temperature ranges (500°F, 650°F or 800°F). Comes with 3-position hot/cool/off switch, 650°F heating element, suspension ring, shrink tubing attachment (P/N 40060), bench stand (P/N 50675), and 7-foot 3-wire power cord. Air volume: 3.8 CFM.
