Kester 24-6337-9710 is a rosin mildly activated cored wire solder. It has an Sn63Pb37 (63% Tin / 37% Lead) alloy, .031" wire diameter, #285 mildly activated rosin flux, and #66 flux core size. Kester Formula #285 consists of high quality, purified rosin to which a synergistic combination of activating agents has been incorporated. Its high mobility and fast spreading action is comparable to fully activated rosin fluxes, resulting in more reliable production line soldering and less solder usage per joint. This can translate into an overall improvement in productivity. Kester #285 is classified as ROL0 per J-STD-004. Kester 24-6337-9710 comes packaged on a 1-lb. spool.
