Kester 959 Flux, No-Clean, 3.9% Solids, 1-gal. Container

• Low Solid, No-Clean Flux

Formulated for wave soldering conventional and surface mount circuit board assemblies, these extremely low solids content fluxes leave practically no residue which can interfere with post-solder electrical testing. Boards are dry and cosmetically clean as they exit the wave solder machine. With these environmentally safe fluxes, the expense of solvent or water cleaning is eliminated. No-clean fluxes provide good activity, are halogen-free and non-corrosive, and don't degrade surface insulation resistance. No offensive odors are given off during soldering. Rosin-free, 2.0% solids Formula 951 is ideal for foam and spray application. 3.9% solids Formula 959 was developed to minimize the formation of micro-solderballs during wave soldering.
