Hexacon Soldering Tip for 1002, Single Flat, 3/32"

Exceeds all industry standards and MIL specs including the performance requirements of MIL-STD-200A and ANSI/J-STD-001; the ESD requirements of MIL-STD-1686; and the EMI and RFI emission criteria of MIL-STD-461A/462A. Thermistor positioned at working end of tip controls temperature from 525°F to 850°F with ±10°F variance at idle. It continually senses temperature and immediately corrects for temperature variations by adjusting the power through a closed loop, zero voltage switching circuit which prevents damage to components caused by voltage spikes and magnetic fields. Posi-Ground® tip grounding prevents leakage potentials greater than 2mV - well below the damage level for voltage sensitive components. Station is completely ESD-safe with a base unit constructed of conductive steel and a handle made of static-dissipative material. Comes complete with power unit, miniature soldering iron with J101X tip, iron holder, sponge, and heat-resistant 3-wire power cord.
