Hakko 472D-01 Digital Desoldering Station, Built-In Vaccum, Pencil Handpiece

The Hakko 472D uses an in-line, pencil style desoldering handpiece that is designed with a 60W heating element to generate a temperature range of 662°F-842°F. Desoldering process control is made easy with digital temperature display and a control card that is used to enter parameter and temperature settings. When the card is removed, all settings are "locked" into system memory to guard against operators making inadvertent changes. Self-contained vacuum pump does not require an external air supply.  Heavy-duty absorption power and quick thermal recovery permit fast desoldering of multilayer PC boards.

Power supply with integrated pump generates 24" Hg of vacuum pressure and 15 liters/min. of suction flow. Station's ESD-safe design and surge-protection circuitry prevent damage to PC boards and other sensitive electronic components.
