BioFit Upholstered Chair with Tubular Base & Footring, Black Fabric/Chrome Plated, 16-3/4" to 22"

Designed to provide maximum comfort for people of every shape and size. Standard backrests measure 14-1/2"W x 9-1/2"H and have added lumbar support. Seat sizes measure 18-1/2"W x 16-1/2"D x 3" thick for improved total body support. Utilizing a "soft touch"pneumatic mechanism, the chair can be raised or lowered from the seated position. This seat-control mechanism, built around a gas cylinder, is activated by a single lever and allows the seat to rotate a full 360°. When weight is applied and the lever engaged, the seat lowers. Reverse the action and the seat rises. No need to get under the chair to adjust it, and no need to spin the chair around and around. Tough tubular base with five legs welded over longer-than-average span and 20" diameter footring builds in extra strength. A durable, five-leg cast aluminum base is also available. End of legs of both base styles are die-stamped to make insertion and removal of optional casters simple. The fine-quality fabric upholstery is 100% Marquesa® Lana (polyolefin) and is protected with Dupont® Teflon® fabric protector. Chairs are available with either a black enamel or chrome-plated finish in a choice of either black or blue fabric. Other fabric colors and paint finished are available upon request. Chairs assemble in minutes without tools, and come complete with all-metal floor glides. Optional rubber casters replace glides, and add 2" to seat height.
