All components are made of high-quality Swedish steel and have been life tested for 50,000 cycles. Size has been minimized to allow single-handed operation and to ensure the tool fits easily into repair kits. A ratchet device has been built in to guarantee that the user makes the exact same complete crimp every time. Should the user start a faulty crimp, a safety release mechanism is built into the ratchet, allowing the user, with one finger, to open the tool before the cycle is complete.
