These microscopes provide clear, crisp images while offering excellent focal depth and 3-dimensional viewing. They are mounted on stainless steel, double glide arms with ball-bearings that make travel smooth and precise, not jerky, for easy and accurate positioning. The double arm design gives strength and rigidity without sag or wobble. Standard features of the Prolite® microscope line include extra-large 45° eyepieces, coated prism optics, parfocal zoom, interpupil diopter adjustment, protective eyeguards, and a metal body with a carbon-impregnated conductive coating for ESD safety. 10X eyepieces provide a magnification range of 7X to 42X (90mm WD). Magnification range can be changed to 3.5X to 21X (180mm WD) with the addition of a 0.5X auxiliary lens. Preconfigured binocular systems come with double arm stand, 0.5X auxiliary lens, and either a fluorescent ring light or a fiber optic illuminator with ring light guide.
