Offers a method for the complete removal of microscopic contaminants, without the chance of damage to the optical fiber end-face. Simply pull a wipe over the neoprene platen, which prevents end-face scratching, and draw the connector over the wipe in a linear motion. Can be used “dry” or “wet” (with fiber connector cleaner), and is convenient and economical for use in field or OEM applications. Heavy-duty lint-free wiping material won't shred or tear. It is tough enough for removal of cable gel and soft enough for cleaning ferrule end-faces. 2.75" x 3" perforated wipers are packaged 200 per box.
