Combines the power and process control advantages of Metcal's SmartHeat® technology (fixed temperature/ variable power control) with an innovative, compact power supply and replaceable heater tips rather than cartridges. An enhanced PS-CA2 coil assembly allows the PS-800E to be the perfect, compact system for repetitive manual soldering and touch-up. It is designed to be used with OKI SFV Series power heater tips giving the operator a reliable, hassle-free production tool. This station is ideal for soldering lead-free PCBs without the need to continually re-calibrate, like traditional technologies, to meet the higher temperature requirements. OK International has developed a comprehensive line of large diameter, high power soldering tip geometries for the PS-CA2 coil assembly. The result is extended tip life without reducing thermal performance. Station comes with power supply, soldering handpiece (without soldering tip), auto-sleep workstand with sponge, and cartridge removal pad.
