This portable, non-contact meter has a 3-1/2" digit, 0.4" high LCD display which consistently produces accurate readings with ease. It indicates surface voltage and polarity on objects up to ±19.99kV at a distance of 1" with an accuracy of ±5% of the displayed value. It is chopper-stabilized for use under almost any conditions including ionized environments. The conductive case and ground snap facilitate grounding for accurate measurement. Also featured are a zero knob and a push-button hold function. A unique LED rangefinder system provides accurate positioning of the meter from the target. The unit operates on a 9V battery (included) and comes with carrying case and NIST-traceable Certificate of Calibration. The ionization test kit (P/N 19497) includes a digital static field meter (P/N 19495), a conductive plate, and a test plate charger which is capable of placing a ±1000V charge on the conductive plate. Together these components enable the operator to measure the discharge time of air ionization equipment per ANSI/ESD SP3.3 Periodic Verification of Air Ionizers.
