This precision tweezer handpiece, for use with the MX-500 soldering and rework system, is ergonomically designed to meet the demanding requirements for reworking very small electronic components, including 0201. It enables the user to remove and replace components, with the targeted application of heat, to the soldered connections of the devices while mechanically gripping the component for removal. Using OK International's patented SmartHeatŪ technology, the optimum thermal demand is met with minimum stress and thermal over shoot. These "hot tweezers" are lightweight and sized to maximize operator comfort and efficiency. The tweezer-action, plus a dual position pitch adjustment, enable the operator to size the pincer-action to the component width. Upgrade kit includes both the handpiece and workstand with sponge. Tweezer cartridges are not included and must be purchased separately.
