The MFR-2200 Series Soldering and Rework Systems provide a high power, flexible solution for production soldering, touch-up soldering and SMD rework. SmartHeat® responds to the load, delivering the energy required for each connection, while protecting sensitive components and substrates from damage. The result is a high degree of control without resorting to higher tip idle temperatures required by conventional ceramic heater technologies. Lightweight handpieces with an optimum tip-to-grip distance add comfort and control, especially for fine pitch applications. An impressive range of tips geometries ensures flexibly performance. Unit is supplied with Auto-Sleep Stand to increase tip life. This station employs replaceable heater tips rather than cartridges, making cost of ownership extremely competitive. The unique two-piece design separates the heater coil from the tip. The long-life heater coil remains in the handle, while tips are easily removed and replaced. Most importantly, the cost of the heater tips is comparable to that of conventional tips. The MFR-2220 system is ESD-safe and meets Mil-Specs. It operates on 100/120VAC and includes a two-port 65W power supply, 60W soldering handpiece (without heater tip), workstand with sponge, and cartridge removal pad.
