Easily mounted to inspection microscopes, this high intensity ring light provides 360° of bright white light with an illumination level that rivals direct sunlight. 60 LED bulbs, rated at 10,000 hours of life, create intense and focused shadow-free illumination while only using 6W of power. Brighter output allows both the use of higher-magnification optics to resolve finer details, and the reduction of eye fatigue in direct observation conditions without heating the illuminated subject. A 2.4" inner diameter collar combined with three soft-tipped setscrews provide for secure around-the-lens mounting convenience. Variable intensity control allows light output to be dialed from full to zero brightness. The device comes equipped with a current-controlled power supply that plugs into standard power outlets.
