Strips a wide variety of insulated wires, including Teflon. Blades heat up to 1472°F (800°C), are easy to replace, and are shaped for unobstructed view of the wire to be stripped. Two lead adjusters allow repeatable wire strip lengths from 1/8" to 1-1/2", and machined guidebars ensure precise stripping action. Standard/reverse action option allows the user to select the appropriate blade opening or closing function depending on the work. A power save mode, which can be turned on or off, extends blade life by reducing the temperature 50% when handpiece is placed in holder. Handpiece has an indicator light that shows when blade temperature has stabilized. Operates on 120VAC. Blades must be purchased separately.
