Features an extremely lightweight, reconfigurable handpiece that allows you to use the tool as either an inline desoldering pencil or pistol-grip desoldering gun by simply removing or adding the handle. N3 Series desoldering nozzle/heater cartridges offer a one-step, quick-change design with fast thermal recovery. Their enlarged throat and shortened design make these replaceable cartridges virtually non-cloggable and ideal for lead-free applications. Their slender body enables them to handle those difficult-to-reach component pads on densely populated PC boards. Disposable solder collection filters are easy to remove and replace. Internal vacuum pump generates a suction flow of 15 liters/min. Tip temperature is push-button adjustable from 400°F to 840°F with an accuracy of ±15°F. Other features include large °F/°C display, lock-out key card that provides supervisory process control, auto power shut-off after 30 minutes of non-use, and programmable sleep mode of 0 to 29 minutes.When in sleep mode, tip temperature is reduced to approximately 400°F, and will quickly return to set temperature after the handpiece is removed from the holder. Station is ESD-safe and meets Mil-Specs (tip-to-ground resistance <2O; tip-to-ground potential <2mV). Operates on 120VAC and includes 120W power supply with temperature lock-out key, 70W desoldering handpiece, detachable handle (for pistol-grip, gun style handpiece configuration), sleep-mode handpiece holder with sponge, nozzle removal tool, nozzle cleaning drill, and filter pipe. Nozzle/heater cartridges must be purchased separately. Convert the FM204 into a high performance soldering station by purchasing the optional conversion kit (P/N FM2027-03). Easily replaceable, T15 Series composite soldering tips must be purchased separately.
