This dual port, high performance soldering station can operate multiple handpieces including the FM2027-01 soldering iron, FM2022 parallel remover (SMD tweezer), FM2023 mini parallel remover (SMD mini tweezer), and FM2024 desoldering module. Utilizing pulsing heater technology, it provides consistent temperature with fast recovery, even for high mass soldering applications or when using lead-free solders. Tip temperature is pushbutton adjustable from 400°F to 840°F with an accuracy of ±15°F. Other features include large °F/°C display, lock-out key card that provides supervisory process control, auto power shut-off after 30 minutes of non-use, and low tip temperature alarm. A programmable sleep mode of 0 to 29 minutes reduces tip temperature to approximately 400°F after the programmed time, minimizing oxidation of the tip and improving tip performance.When in sleep mode, the tip will quickly return to set temperature after the iron is removed from the holder. Sleep mode, auto power-off, and tip temperature can be programmed separately for each port. Easily-replaceable, T15 Series composite soldering tips are constructed of a heating element and sensor, integrated with ceramic. Despite their highly compact design, these tips offer superior thermal response and greatly improved thermal recovery. Station is ESD-safe and meets Mil-Specs (tip-to-ground resistance <2O; tip-toground potential <2mV). Operates on 120VAC and includes 140W power supply with temperature lock-out key, 70W soldering iron with soft ergonomic grip, sleep-mode iron holder with sponge, soldering tip stand, and soldering tip removal pad. Soldering tips must be purchased separately.
