These smart, tough meters measure AC/DC voltage to 1000V, AC/DC current, resistance, capaci-tance, and frequency. They also have a continuity beeper and diode test. Other features include 6000-count LCD display, 33-segment analog bar graph display, and auto/manual ranging. True-RMS AC voltage and current measurements provide accurate readings on all waveforms. Min/max/average function records irregular activity, auto/manual hold freezes the displayed reading, sleep mode preserves battery life, and overvoltage protection guards against voltage transients up to 8kV. All inputs are protected to IEC CAT III 1000V and CAT IV 600V safety ratings. Easy-access battery door allows you to change the battery without breaking the calibration seal. Rugged, overmolded case acts like body armor and offers constant protection no matter how much the meter is thrown around. Three models to choose from. Model 175 has 0.15% basic VDC accuracy. Model 177 has 0.09% basic VDC accuracy, plus a backlight to illuminate the screen in dark workspaces. Model 179 adds temperature measurement to the features of the Model 177. All models come with TL75 test leads and 9V battery. Model 179 also comes with an 80BK temperature probe.
