This two-arm fume extraction system combines powerful fan performance with efficient filtration, quiet operation, and complete portability. Compact enough to go under the workbench, the unit provides multi-user power in a truly portable system that can be easily transported by one person without the strain induced by larger units. Using the proven fan motor of the BVX-100 Series fume extraction systems, the BVX-200 systems add a proprietary one-stage impeller design that doubles the fan's total free-blowing air capacity. The result is a maximum air flow rate (with filter) of 45 CFM through each air inlet port, with a maximum suction force of 850 Pascal (3.5" WC), a relatively high suction rating offered by a compact unit. This suction force provides ample capability in reserve to handle any clogging that may occur during the normal life of the filter. The BVX-201 system is designed mainly for solder fumes and incorporates both pre and main filters. These filters can be changed independently to maximize their working life and lower the total cost of ownership. The main filter has a HEPA efficiency greater than 99.95%, plus an activated carbon filter to remove additional gases. For applications that require a high capacity of gas filtration, such as cleaning with solvents or conformal coatings, the BVX-203 system features a deep bed gas filter. All filters are easy to replace: Just pull the old one from the power source, install the new one, and the fume extraction system is ready for use again. Power sources operate on 115VAC, measure 20"L x 10"W x 15.3"H, and weigh 20 lbs.
