These prism-designed microscopes feature Greenough optics for improved flatness and contrast. Extra wide eyepieces, tilted 45° to reduce neck fatigue, provide an enlarged view while preserving a crystal clear image and excellent depth of field. 10X eyepieces are combined with a .5X supplementary lens. This reduces the standard zoom range of 9X-40X down to 4.5X-20X to meet MIL-STD-2000A specifications. Weighted base boom stand can be easily adjusted vertically and horizontally to position microscope head wherever you desire. Lighting choices include either a 2-step dimmable fluorescent ring illuminator or a continuously variable 150W halogen fiber optic light.
