Fully functional resistance tester allows you to control both heel grounder and wrist strap testing in a single unit. Checks personnel wearing wrist straps, ESD shoes, and heel straps against preset limits. For footwear testing, simply stand on the shoe testing plate and press touch panel. For wrist strap testing, simply insert ground cord plug into test jack and press touch panel. Set value for upper and lower resistance limits can be varied. Actual measurements are indicated on a 3-1/2" digit display and by LOW, OK and HIGH LED lamps. Use of tester's external RS-232C serial data port allows automatic recording of test results, eliminating manual recording and possible errors. Unit comes with data logging software that offers you a complete system of testing and recording results of your wrist straps and footwear. Software communicates via RS-232 signal to a personal computer and can handle up to eight stations using a single PC. Results are automatically saved which allows efficient data storage and faster data retrieval. Tester operates on AA battery or AC adapter (included).
