Provides consistent, nick-free stripping of industrial insulations (PVC, THHN, and THHW) and standard insulations (PVC, rubber, and silicone) without damaging conductors. Ergonomically-designed, contoured handles let you hold the tool in a natural position so stripping is comfortable and requires less effort. Built-in cutter provides a smooth, straight cut without distorting conductor. Fine adjustment slider on top of tool lets you adjust to insulation thickness. Adjustable stop length and scale (with strip lengths for wire ferrules) make sure strips lengths are accurate. Strips 28-10 AWG wire and features stripping blades composed of 68 individual spring-compression blades that adjust precisely to the insulation. This tool should not be used for Teflon® or Kapton™ hard insulations (use P/N 1115P Mini-Stripax® Plus with a Teflon® blade for these insulations). 7-1/4" O.L.
