Ideal for protecting repaired wiring against water, condensation, salt, and corrosion. Each splice consists of a crimp barrel enclosed inside of transparent, adhesive-lined, heat-shrinkable tubing. When properly crimped and heated, the tubing shrinks and the adhesive flows creating a high quality environmental seal. Kit contains ratcheting crimp tool, weather-proof splices that seal when heated, Model UT100SI Ultratorch® heat tool, tips for flameless heating and soldering, and tough carrying case for field use. Splices include: (15) red, 22-18 gauge; (25) blue, 16-14 gauge; and (10) yellow, 12-10 gauge. Self-igniting, butane-powered Ultratorch® is shipped empty, but uses standard butane gas.
