The 8200 Series of mats and runners have a unique three-layer construction. The top layer, made of durable semi-conductive vinyl, has sufficiently low resistivity to discharge static-laden conductors, yet will prevent the shorting of pins on the backs of the printed circuit boards laid on the mat. Beneath the semi-conductive vinyl top is a highly conductive scrim that provides the main discharge path to ground. The bottom layer is non-conductive foam backing - a durable, non-skid cushion that also helps prevent the bypassing of the protective (conductive) layers.

• Pre-cut table mats come with two pre-installed snap fasteners and a 15-ft. common point ground cord (P/N 3048).
• Pre-cut floor mats come with two pre-installed snap fasteners and a 15-ft. mat/runner ground cord (P/N 3040).
• Runners come with two pre-installed snap fasteners and two 15-ft. mat/runner ground cords (P/N 3040).
