This compact unit operates on either battery or AC power. It can be used to test wrist straps (while wearing them) in a variety of situations, from daily testing in a production facility to periodic testing at remote sites or field service locations. Green (OK) and red (not OK) LEDs indicate whether the strap resistance is within the acceptable range of 750KΩ to 10MΩ. Unit is supplied with an AC adapter, but it also contains a long-life lithium battery as back-up power for portable applications or during power failures. A "battery" light notifies the user when the battery needs replacement. Comes with a wall mounting kit, operating instructions, and 1-year warranty. Available with or without Certificate of Calibration.
