EMI shielding tape are designed for applications requiring reliable point-to-point electrical contact, particularly EMI shielding, grounding, and static charge draining. The tapes have a multitude of uses in electronic design and test laboratories for prototyping, design and troubleshooting. Smooth-backed 1170 aluminum tape is 3.2-mil thick and provides cost efficient EMI protection in OEM shielding and static grounding applications. 1181 is a copper foil tape and is 2.6-mil thick. 4.0-mil thick 1245 tape has embossed copper foil shielding. All three tapes feature "through-the-adhesive" conductive backing and meet UL510 requirements for flame retardancy.

Foil shielding tape kit FTK provides a unique way to have a variety of foil shielding tapes conveniently at hand for design or prototype needs. Kit contains 3/4" x 4-yd. portions of nine tapes (1170, 1181, 1182, 1183, 1190, 1194, 1245, 1267 and 1345), and is ideal for the engineer who needs only a few inches of a particular tape and doesn't want to purchase full roll quantities.
