Made by a special process which controls the inclusion of oxides and metallic and non-metallic impurities, Kester lead-free UltrapureŽ bar solder ensures faster wetting and lower dross than competitive lead-free alloys. Its unique triangular shape differentiates it from traditional leaded bar solders, which reduces operator error when dual systems are used. Comprised of 96.5% tin, 3.0% silver, and 0.5% copper (Sn96.5/Ag3.0/Cu0.5, also referred to as Kester SAC 305) with a melting temperature of 423°F.
