For a long time, it was difficult to control vibration and minute impacts generated during screw fastening, but the SS Series is a new type of electric torque screwdriver that reduces impacts by approximately 80% when fastening. They're ideal for use on such impact-sensitive assemblies as hard disks, LCDs, or high-density printed circuit boards. The SS Series tools provide extra shock absorbing features. A unique, ergonomic clutch delivers less torque reaction to the operator. Full torque control while in reverse mode makes these tools a great choice for rework applications. You may choose drivers with either a standard 1/4" hex collet or a 4.0mm collet (recommended when working on very small fasteners, or when driver is used with a vacuum pick-up system). All models feature lever actuation, switch-actuated forward/reverse operation and include suspension hook, detachable 6-ft. power cord, and externally replaceable brushes. A transformer (not included) is required to power the drivers.
