Tool stands help prevent drivers from falling off the work bench while keeping electrical cords out of operator's way. They should be used in conjunction with either a tool balancer/positioner. Economical stand 64315 consists of steel conduit, bent slightly more than 90° to form an arm offset at 10°. Stand 65003 is made of annodized aluminum tubing. All of its fittings are engineered plastic with 20% glass reinforced polycarbonate for added strength and long life. The finish is rust-proof and chip-proof - no paint is used on any of its components. Tool balancers, both retracting and positioning, assist in preventing operator fatigue. Model 64308 is a true tool balancer that will support 4 lbs. It retracts a tool completely, allowing the operator access to the work area without tool interference. Cord length is 60". Model 64313 is actually a tool positioner. A tool will remain at whatever level or position the operator leaves it when doing other tasks. This unit will handle tool weights up to 5 lbs. Cord length is 55".
