Used to prepare and terminate phone cable for RJ-11 or RJ45 modular plugs. Cuts, strips and crimps for easy, on-the-job, one-tool application. Crimps primary modular plug strain relief only. Steel frame for long-term durability. Comes in either an economical version (Model 30-496) or a ratchet version (Model 30-696) which offers repeatable crimp action for consistent, high quality connections. Economical 30-496 is available in a kit (P/N 33-700) with an assortment of RJ-11 (1, 2 and 3-pair) and RJ-45 (4-pair) connectors (10 each).
