Designed to cut round communication cable and maintain cable geometry for better cable performance. Shear-type, self-centering, hardened steel blades provide smooth, clean cutting without flattening conductors. Cuts multi-pair cable up to .500" and coaxial cable up to RG-9/U. Blade cutting capabilities suitable for soft cables (not ACSR). Steel reinforced center conductors can be trimmed with bolt cutting holes. Ergonomic curved handles with contoured cushioned grips are designed to maximize comfort and efficiency. Spring-loaded for automatic opening after each cut. Locking latch keeps tool closed in pouch. Black oxide finish resists corrosion.
