Choose between standard co-polymer plastic or carbon-filled, conductive plastic. Conductive cabinets can be used to protect MOS, CMOS, ICs, memory chips, precision resistors, and other ESD-sensitive components by bleeding-off static charges at a safe, controlled rate when properly connected to a ground. They have a volume resistivity of <105 ohms/sq. and are built in accordance with DOD-HDT3K-263 guidelines. Each cabinet comes with a static-safe ground wire which protects users against electrical shock.
