Made from carbon-filled polypropylene, these bins are ideal for temporary storage and kitting of static-sensitive components. Unlike anti-static material, they cannot be altered by use, age, humidity, or other environmental factors. Bins are in compliance with military specification MIL-B-81705B. Surface resistivity is (exponents) ohms/sq. Volume resistivity is (exponents) ohms-cm. Bins mount on conductive stand, or can be used alone at workbench. They have molded-in cardholder, and hopper front for easy removal of parts. When louvered bin stand is properly connected to earth ground using ground cord (provided), it will bleed-off any static charge at a safe, controlled rate. Ground cord comes with built-in 1M resistor to protect users against electrical shock.
