This ready-to-use air ionizer quickly and effectively neutralizes bulk static charges on non-conductive surfaces (i.e. plastics) by generating a steady flow of positive and negative ions. It also aids in controlling contamination by dislodging dust and debris attracted by static electricity. Once the static charges are neutralized, dust particles and other forms of contamination are freed and carried away by the air stream. The Ion Python’s air flow may be easily adjusted from a gentle stream to a powerful blast, and its air nozzle has a push button to initiate the flow of air and neutralizing ions. The handpiece is lightweight and ergonomically designed to comfortably fit any size hand. The air hose is designed to be easily disconnected or replaced by the user. Unit operates on 120VAC and require 5-100 PSI of shop air (needle valve on the back of the control box adjusts air flow). Comes with pinpoint nozzle tip, detachable 7-ft. long air hose, replaceable air filter, and NIST-traceable Certificate of Calibration.
