This inspection magnifier is fitted with a 5" diameter, 3-diopter, double-convex lens to provide 3/4x magnification at a working distance of 13" . Its 22-watt circline fluorescent tube sheds even, shadow-free light on all sides of object being viewed. A sturdy, molded handle on the front of the lamp, head facilitates placement of the light and magnifier where you want them. The " floating arm" glides with the touch of a finger, and stays where you put it. There are no exposed springs to wear out, squeak, or to distract from its sleek appearance. Includes on/off switch, 3-wire cord, and fluorescent tube. Available in weighted base (28" reach) and clamp-on mount (42" reach) versions. Also available with a 16-diopter (4x magnification) lens system (combines two 3" diameter, 8-diopter lenses) to meet the 4-power requirements of Mil-Specs DOD-2000-1B and WS6536E. Color: Gray.
