The heating element of these ESD-safe soldering stations is integrated into the soldering iron handle rather than in the tip, so you don't throw away a good heater every time you wear out a tip. Tip temperature is adjustable from 300°F to 850°F ±9°F, so you don't have to maintain separate tips to operate at different temperatures. 65W micro soldering iron with a short tip-to-grip distance gives you excellent control and puts you closer to the work. Super-fast heat-up saves you time. Superior thermal recovery allows fast, efficient soldering. Tips are secured to the iron by use of a threaded end, which eliminates the need for a barrel nut. Standard setback feature extends tip life by automatically reducing tip temperature to 300°F if the soldering iron is not used for 20 minutes. After 60 minutes of inactivity, the "auto off" function is activated and the soldering iron is switched off. Digital display is programmable using the optional calibration unit (P/N WCB1) which allows you to set temperature lock-out, set-back, and °F to °C switching. Two models to choose from. Single iron Model WSL operates on 120VAC and comes with power unit, detachable 65W iron with NT1 (.010" micro) tip, iron holder with tip-cleaning sponge, power on/off switch, power-on LED, and 3-wire power cord. Dual iron Model WSL2 includes a second iron with 80W heating element, LTB (.094" chisel) tip, and iron holder with tip-cleaning sponge. Both stations operate on 120VAC, are ESD-safe to protect sensitive components, and are UL and cUL listed.
