Unlike small electric irons, this 7"-long, 3-oz., butane soldering and hot air tool has no cords and requires no recharging time. It develops fully adjustable temperatures equivalent to conventional 25 to 75-watt irons (1076°F max.). Iron features built-in piezo igniter, heats in less than 40 seconds, and has no open flame. When finished soldering, just snap on the self-extinguishing cap and, in seconds, Portasol® is cool enough to be placed back in your pocket or tool kit. Refills in less than 20 seconds with a gas capacity of up to one hour of continuous use. ESD-safe to protect sensitive components. The P2C iron includes a 3/32" double flat soldering tip. The P2KC kit includes iron, safety stand, four tips (3/32" double flat soldering tip, mini blow torch tip, hot air tip and deflector, and hot knife tip), tip-cleaning sponge and tray, and storage case. Note: Butane not included.
