This portable, ESD-safe analyzer was developed to test compliance against DOD-2000 soldering specifications. It has the ability to monitor either absolute temperature (via contact pyrometer) or temperature stability (via thermocouple assembly) from 32°F to 1040°F (0-560°C) with ±5°F accuracy and a resolution down to 1°F. The unit can also be used to measure tip-to-ground resistance from 0 to 19.99 ohms (with a resolution down to 0.01 ohms) or tip leakage from 0 to 19.99mV RMS (with a resolution down to 0.01mV). Features include a 3-1/2 digit LED display and °F/°C selector switch. Output jack allows connection to a chart recorder for hard copy printout of measurement data. Includes vinyl case, 9-volt battery, ground cord adapter, iron stand, two contact pyrometers, and two K-type thermocouple assemblies (for Weller® irons with ET and EPH Series tips).
