The perfect soldering station for serious hobbyists, do-it-yourselfers, and students who want a higher level of soldering performance than they can get with a standard gun or iron, but without spending the amount of money on an industrial station. You can adjust the power from 5 to 40 watts – enough variation to change the operating temperature from ambient to 900°F max. Interchangeable ST Series tips are solid copper, plated with iron, and precision ground, to provide maximum heat transfer from heater to tip. Station includes with 40-watt pencil iron with cushioned foam grip, 1/8" screwdriver tip (P/N ST3), safety guard iron holder, tip-cleaning sponge, on/off switch with "power-on" indicator light, and 2-wire power cord. Operates on 120VAC and is UL approved.
