This scope has a sturdy, heavy duty, cast aluminum alloy housing that rotates 360° in its focus mount. Models come standard with 10X widefield eyepieces and have a zoom range from .65 to 4.5 giving it a magnification range of 6.5X to 45X. An optional 0.5X supplementary lens (P/N 18750) changes the magnification range from 3.25X to 22.5X and increases the working distance from 3.5" to 6". Zoom control is by dual graduated knobs on the sides of the body. A dimmable 150W fiber optic illuminator with continuous annular ring light lets the operator regulate the exact amount of light desired. Microscope is available mounted on either a single arm boom stand or dual arm boom stand, The versatile single arm boom stand features unique horizontal rack-and-pinion fine adjustment for the final 2" extension, in addition to the vertical rack-and-pinion fine adjustment on the focus mount. The dual arm boom stand features a ball-bearing design that provides virtually unlimited vertical or horizontal positioning. Its 26" stainless steel horizontal boom extension and 19.5" vertical boom are mounted to a 10" x 10" die-cast base.
