This tip temperature meter is extremely easy to use. Just touch hot soldering tip to sensor's cross section, apply constant pressure, and temperature is shown almost instantly on meter's LCD display. When the MAX HOLD feature is enabled, the thermometer will display the maximum temperature measured. Wire sensor measures temperatures from 0°F to 1300°F - wide enough to handle all soldering applications. Resolution is 1°F. Lightweight, easy-to-replace sensor is coated with a special metal alloy that resists corrosion and oxidation. Includes 9-volt battery and set of 10 sensors. To preserve battery life, the auto shutoff feature turns the thermometer off when not used for three minutes.
